Caropolia LLC (doing business as “Caropolia”) provides automotive media, deal-intelligence tools, community features, lead generation, and connections to independent automotive businesses. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information such as email address and authentication records.
- Information submitted in quote requests, contact forms, partner applications, club registrations, store orders, and newsletter signups.
- For partner due diligence, business registration and license details, issuing authority, expiration date, insurance confirmation, public review-profile URLs, public ratings, and review counts.
- Vehicle and deal information such as VIN, year, make, model, mileage, ZIP code, asking price, fees, and financing details.
- Technical and security information used for bot prevention, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service reliability.
- Optional analytics information only after the visitor permits analytics through the privacy controls.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and tools, provide requested results, process payments, respond to requests, match users with relevant independent partners, maintain security, improve the service, and send newsletters to people who subscribed.
Partner due-diligence information is used to review applications, verify public credentials and reputation sources, monitor partner eligibility, and protect users. Applicants should not submit government identification or sensitive personal documents through a public form; Caropolia will request any necessary document through a separate secure process.
Service providers
Caropolia uses service providers including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and authentication, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and MarketCheck for automotive market information. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Sharing and selling
We may share a request with an independent partner when necessary to fulfill the user’s requested service. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this policy and the privacy controls must be updated before the change goes live.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and legitimate business records. We use access controls, row-level database policies, multifactor authentication for administrators, encrypted transport, and signed payment webhooks. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in each broadcast. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@caropolia.com. We may need to verify identity before completing a request and may retain records where legally permitted or required.

Children
Caropolia is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Caropolia LLC (doing business as “Caropolia”). By using Caropolia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Caropolia provides
Caropolia provides media, educational automotive tools, marketing, lead generation, community features, and introductions to independent businesses. Caropolia is not a dealership, broker, lender, insurer, repair provider, financial advisor, tax advisor, or law firm.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate information, safeguarding account access, and all activity under your account. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected systems, interfere with security, submit unlawful content, impersonate others, or use automated tools to abuse forms or paid features.
Independent partners
Automotive businesses shown or contacted through Caropolia are independent third parties. Caropolia does not guarantee their availability, pricing, licensing, work quality, statements, approvals, or outcomes. Users should independently verify credentials, estimates, contracts, insurance, and warranties.
Paid features and credits
Prices, credit quantities, and included features are displayed before checkout. Deal credits have no cash value, may not be transferred or resold, and are consumed when a Pro Market Value request is successfully completed. Failed eligible requests should not consume a credit or should be refunded automatically.
Intellectual property
Caropolia branding, original media, site design, written content, and software are owned by Caropolia LLC or used with permission. Users may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit them without written permission.
Availability and limitations
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Caropolia disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, partner services, market data, or purchasing decisions.
Refund Policy
Deal Checker credit purchases are processed securely by Stripe. Prices and credit quantities are shown before checkout. If a purchase is duplicated, credits are not delivered, or the paid service fails, contact info@caropolia.com with the account email and Stripe receipt so Caropolia can review the transaction.
Deal credits
Before a credit is used, a customer may request review of an accidental duplicate purchase by contacting info@caropolia.com. A credit successfully used for a delivered Pro Market Value result is normally non-refundable, except where the service malfunctioned, the result was not delivered, or applicable law requires otherwise.
Merchandise
Merchandise return eligibility, timing, condition requirements, shipping responsibility, and exclusions must be displayed on the applicable product or payment page before live merchandise sales begin. Defective or incorrect items should be reported promptly with the order email and supporting photographs.
Partner and media services
Refund and cancellation terms for partner plans, media production, sponsorships, or custom services must be stated in the applicable written proposal or agreement.
Cookie & Storage Policy
Caropolia uses essential browser storage for sign-in, security, theme preference, cart contents, and privacy choices. Some providers may use technically necessary cookies or similar storage to provide authentication, fraud prevention, and bot protection.
Essential storage
Essential storage is required for requested features and cannot be disabled through the Caropolia preference panel. Blocking it in the browser may prevent accounts, forms, checkout, cart, or security tools from working correctly.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics is off by default until a visitor allows it. If enabled, Caropolia uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated page views and product interactions. Caropolia does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form messages, payment details, or uploaded documents to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization features remain disabled.
Google Analytics may process device, browser, approximate location, page, referral, and interaction information. Analytics retention is controlled through the Caropolia Google Analytics property settings and is limited to the shortest operational period selected there. Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” button in the footer or on this page to change your analytics choice. The choice is stored in the browser as caropolia_consent_v1. Clearing browser storage resets the choice.
Deal Checker Disclaimer
Deal Checker and Pro Market Value provide educational estimates based on information entered by the user and third-party market data that may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Results are not an appraisal, inspection, guaranteed market value, dealer offer, financing quote, tax calculation, or legal or financial advice.
Vehicle history, title status, condition, location, options, accident history, fees, lender requirements, and rapidly changing market conditions can materially affect value. Users should verify the VIN and listing information, obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection, review vehicle-history and title records, confirm the complete out-the-door price in writing, and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.
Caropolia does not guarantee savings, negotiation outcomes, vehicle condition, price, availability, or the accuracy of third-party data. The user remains responsible for every purchasing and financing decision.
